Our favorite choice for a Desert Camp in the dunes of Erg Chebbi
Gone are the times where visitors to Morocco were happy with a spartan Bedouin tent in the dunes. Presently, spending a night in the Sahara ( or two) doesn’t mean roughing it. Does it mean you’ll have air conditioning in your tent ? Mmmm, nope. What you can expect though it luxurious accoutrements, cotton sheets, hot showers, ensuite toilets and a choice meal. As surreal as it may sound, finding privacy and silence in an area peppered with desert camps has become a challenge as of late. Yet, our choice for a desert camp keeps delivering. And by the way, beating the drums and singing along with the locals after dinner is optional.
